Is it painful?
We apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area to ensure patient comfort. In clinic we often use the term ‘spice is nice’, the controlled injury from the small needles and the thermal injuries from the laser produce collagen to repair years of wear on your skin. After the treatment is complete your skin will feel warm or hot with a possible throbbing sensation that may resemble a moderate sunburn. If you are very nervous and might need extra comfort we also offer Penthrox.
