Who can get the Glow Peel?
The Glow Peel is suitable for the treatment of and improving the appearance of discoloration, uneven pigmentation, marks left behind after stubborn acne, and age spots. The micro-injury to the skin caused by the complex blend of self-neutralizing acids causes the skin to produce collagen and elastin making it an effective anti-aging peel that also softens the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scarring. The intense exfoliating that the Glow Peel provides also enhances the skin’s complexion and overall tone.
What is in the Alumier Glow Peel?
The Alumier Glow Peel is formulated with 7% Lactic Acid, 7% Salicylic Acid, and 7% Resorcinol. This self-neutralizing Facial Peel is kept on the skin for as long as 6 hours to allow the solution to penetrate as deep as possible. The Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Resorcinol work synergistically to exfoliate the skin and improve the appearance of discoloration, congestion, blackheads, whiteheads, and fine lines.
Lactic acid: improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, cell turnover, and the skin’s complexion while keeping the integrity of the skin in mind.
Salicylic acid: derived from the bark of white willow or it can be synthetically made in a lab. Unlike any other acid Salicylic acid is oil soluble, making it the best acid for treating acne and congestion. The use of Salicylic acid is often formulated with other Chemical exfoliants or used with retinol products to increase the efficacy of this ingredient to deliver better results.
Resorcinol: skin-brightening antioxidant is often used in formulations to help increase cell turnover to improve the appearance of sun damage, dark spots, pigmentation, and uneven skin tone. This ingredient is also found in everyday skincare at low concentrations because it neutralizes free radicals and sun damage to help protect our skin from extrinsic aging.

What does the Glow Peel feel like?
The Alumier Glow Peel is often described as a roller coaster. This Chemical Peel is applied in layers onto the skin, with every layer applied to the skin you will experience new sensations of warmth, tingling, and itching that will slowly dissipate before another layer is applied. The Glow Peel is left on the skin for a minimum of 6 hours so it can slowly exfoliate and slough off dead skin cells to reveal a brighter complexion. Even though the Glow Peel is a rollercoaster, it is well tolerated! On average it ranks around a 4-5/10 on a tolerability scale! ( 1 (very tolerable, can’t even feel it!) 10 (this is painful, please get this off of my face!) )
