What is in the Alumier AHA DUO Chemical Peel?
The Alumier AHA DUO Facial Peel is formulated with 20% Lactic Acid and 10% Glycolic Acid. This neutralizable Facial Peel is kept on the skin for as long as 20 minutes to allow the solution to penetrate the dead skin cells. The Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid will work synergistically to exfoliate the skin and improve the appearance of discoloration, congestion, blackheads, whiteheads, and fine lines.
Lactic acid: improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, cell turnover, and the skin’s complexion while keeping the integrity of the skin in mind.
Glycolic Acid: sloughs off dead skin cells to reveal your new and healthy skin cells underneath. This process also stimulates the process of creating collagen and elastin within the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines and textured skin.

The AHA DUO Facial Peel is a well-tolerated peel, the sensation of this peel is described as an itching sensation accompanied by some warmth. This sensation dissipates slightly as the solution remains on the skin for anywhere between 5 to 20 minutes. When the Chemical Peel solution is neutralized the sensation can be enhanced for a moment and then it will slowly dissipate again. The AHA DUO Peel is extremely well tolerated and on average ranks a 3/10 on a tolerability scale! ( 1 (very tolerable, can’t even feel it!) 10 (this is painful, please get this off of my face!) )
